ACTL to Feature Arrowood as Speaker at Arbitration Seminar

(Raleigh, N.C.)—The American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) will feature Catharine Biggs Arrowood, a partner with Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP in Raleigh, as a speaker at their upcoming seminar, “International Commercial Arbitration: What You Need to Know.” The September 23 event will be held in Washington, DC.

Arrowood, who also acted as course planner, will give an overview of international commercial arbitration from U.S. and Canadian perspectives. Her co-presenters include Shelia Block of Torys LLP. Panel discussions on case law and current issues will follow their presentation.

Other speakers at the event include Thomas L. Sager, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of DuPont Legal, E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and PD Villarreal, Senior Vice President of Global Litigation at GlaxoSmithKline, Inc., among others.
