(COLUMBIA, S.C.)—Sam C. Moses, an attorney in the Columbia office of Parker Poe, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States (GACC South). The GACC South is one of the leading German-American business associations in the Southern United States.
The Southern U.S. region of the GACC consists of 11 states, including chapters in South Carolina and North Carolina. Mr. Moses will serve on the GACC South board of directors with executives from U.S. and German-based companies, including the BMW Group, Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software Inc. and Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
Mr. Moses represents U.S. and foreign corporations on a variety of business transactions and corporate and commercial matters, including economic development matters. His clients include many German companies operating in the United States.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Mr. Moses served as managing director of a U.S. state’s European Office in Munich, Germany, assisting European investors seeking to establish operations in North America. He is also a member of the South Carolina Economic Developers' Association and the Columbia Chapter of the World Affairs Council. Mr. Moses received his JD, Masters of International Business Studies and BA from the University of South Carolina.
Having established a dedicated international practice group in 1984, Parker Poe is a leading provider of services to companies based in Germany.
