(RALEIGH, N.C.)—Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Julia Wicker Lee has joined the firm as a Partner in the Raleigh office.

Ms. Lee represents clients in the areas of commercial litigation, financial services litigation, loan restructuring and loan transactions, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and administrative law. She has experience handling complex commercial real estate and contract disputes, bankruptcy claims, debt collection actions, lender liability claims, title insurance claims, foreclosure actions, receiverships, loan workouts and restructures, and private protective services disputes.

Ms. Lee has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in commercial litigation since 2011. She was also the recipient of Triangle Business Leader's Women Extraordinaire award in 2011.

Ms. Lee is a member of several organizations including the Wake County Bar Association, where she served as chair of its CLE Committee from 2008-2011, the American Bar Association and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. In addition, she served on the Recruitment Committee of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network and is a graduate of Leadership Raleigh, Class 27.

Ms. Lee received her JD in 2003 and her BA, magna cum laude, in 1999 from Wake Forest University.
