Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe, a business law firm in the Carolinas, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristen Leis to Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. Kristen joined Parker Poe in August 2014 as the Director of Business Development and Marketing. Since joining the firm she has quickly earned the trust and respect of firm management for her strong focus on client retention and growth, operational department leadership, strategic marketing, relationship building, and process improvement.

Kristen is an experienced law firm client development and marketing professional, working for well-respected business law firms in the Midwest, Pacific Northwest and Southeast. In addition to her many accomplishments over the last year at Parker Poe, she has successfully reorganized the department to mirror the needs of clients, created and implemented a relationship building and business development program utilizing gamification, implemented growth strategies, and enhanced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) usability.  Because of her leadership, the Business Development and Marketing Department is viewed as key knowledge experts that provide the direction and support for the firm’s strategic framework.

Kristen received a B.A. in both Marketing and Sociology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and her Management Certificate, Executive Business MBA Program, from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. She is a member of Manzama’s Global Client Advisory Board (CAB) and the Board of Advisors for Society 54, a professional services coaching and consulting company. Kristen is also a frequent speaker and the recipient of several professional awards for her achievements in legal marketing.
