A former Assistant City Attorney for real estate and infrastructure with the City of Atlanta Law Department, Emily Hart (Cobb) Breece has a unique combination of governmental and private sector experience that she brings to her commercial real estate practice.
Emily Hart represents both public and private entities in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, title matters, easements and license agreements. She also advises local government entities, including K-12 school districts, in the areas of construction, procurement, vendor contracts, intergovernmental agreements, policy development, open records law, and compliance.
Emily Hart spent the first years of her legal career as outside claims counsel for several large, national title insurance companies, and she has a strong background in complex title and survey issues.
Emily Hart is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Atlanta and a graduate of the CREW Atlanta Leadership Class of 2022.
Outside of her regular work, Emily has provided pro bono services on a range of issues, such as community housing leases, housing for victims of human trafficking, and immigration.
