Eva Frongello is dedicated to helping clients capitalize on their intellectual property assets and develop innovative products. She is skilled at providing a full range of intellectual property solutions, including preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, conducting clearance searches, navigating intellectual property disputes, and negotiating coexistence and license agreements.
She represents clients that range from Fortune 500 companies to public and private colleges to startups. Her clients span diverse industries, such as technology, sports and entertainment, and life sciences. She enjoys collaborating with clients via technology to function as a fully integrated member of their teams, including in providing counsel on product development. She is also experienced in negotiating nondisclosure and similar commercial agreements connected to the protection and monetization of intellectual property assets.
Eva serves on the International Trademark Association (INTA) Indigenous Rights Committee, which develops and advocates policy on the impact of indigenous rights and their enforcement on trademark rights. Prior to attending law school, Eva participated in Teach For America, where she taught high school social studies.
Eva received her law degree and bachelor's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. In law school, she was a staff member for the North Carolina Law Review.
