Jonathan Dion has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. He represents clients in key areas such as leasing, sales, acquisitions, and development. He primarily focuses his practice on retail leasing for retail landlords and tenants. He has negotiated hundreds of lease and lease-related documents.

Representative Experience

  • Prepared and negotiated retail, office, warehouse, and industrial lease agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants, including negotiating dozens of lease agreements with national retail tenants.
  • Prepared and negotiated real estate purchase agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, and sale/leaseback agreements.
  • Prepared due diligence items, including title documents, ALTA surveys, and legal descriptions.
  • Reviewed and negotiated loan documents.
  • Represented loan servicers in securitized loans, including reviewing lease agreements for lender approval and negotiating subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreement.
  • Represented a national equipment rental company in all areas of leasing.
  • Represented a regional shopping center owner in all areas of leasing in the Southeast.
  • Represented drugstore developers in the development and financing of more than 25 drug stores in North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • Represented a purchaser in the acquisition and financing of $100 million in golf course assets nationwide.
