Lauren Foster is a real estate and commercial development attorney who focuses her practice on title and survey needs for her clients.
Lauren assists her clients with complex title insurance and structuring issues. She negotiates proforma title insurance policies and endorsements as well as finalizes surveys for closings of nationwide deals valued up to $1 billion. Lauren also reviews zoning and environmental reports for red-flag property issues and advises clients on risks and available indemnities. She also regularly prepares title objection letters, escrow instruction letters, easements, and leases, and reviews covenants, conditions, restrictions (CC&Rs) and reciprocal easement agreements (REAs), among other documents. Lauren excels at organizing diligence review across large portfolio closings. She also assists clients with due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Parker Poe, Lauren served as a real estate attorney for one of the world's top 50 largest law firms. She also worked for the country's largest title insurance and settlement company, where she made underwriting determinations, conducted title examinations and escrow closings on commercial properties worth up to $400 million, and resolved title insurance claims.
Lauren earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University and her undergraduate degree from George Washington University.
