(CHARLESTON, S.C.)—Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP announced today that Jenna Kiziah McGee was named a recipient of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s 2012 40 Under 40 Award. The annual awards recognize the success and community involvement of 40 professionals younger than 40 years old who are making their mark on the region.

Ms. McGee is a partner in Parker Poe’s Charleston office. She concentrates her practice on complex commercial and construction litigation. Ms. McGee represents clients, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, national and local businesses, and individuals. She also has experience in all stages of litigation, including trials and appeals, in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration. Additionally, Ms. McGee provides day-to-day advice to clients in order to manage risk and resolve disputes outside of litigation. Ms. McGee also serves as the Marketing Partner of the Charleston office. Ms. McGee received recognition as a “Rising Star” for 2012 by South Carolina Super Lawyers magazine in Business Litigation.
In addition to her roles at Parker Poe, Ms. McGee is an active member of the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association, the South Carolina Bar Association and the Professional Development Committee of the South Carolina Young Lawyers’ Division. She also serves on the Women’s Leadership Council of Trident United Way and is a supporter of HALOS, an organization which raises money for victims of child abuse and neglect. Additionally, Ms. McGee recently became a representative to the South Carolina chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
A graduate of Duke University, Ms. McGee received her JD, cum laude in 2004 and her BA in 2001.
