The CIPP/US is the global industry standard for data privacy professionals. Developed and launched by the IAPP with leading subject matter experts, the CIPP is the world’s first broad-based global privacy and data protection credentialing program. This certification demonstrates Laura’s understanding of a principles-based framework and knowledge base in information privacy within the U.S.
Laura is the sixth IAPP-certified attorney in our Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Practice Group. Laura advises both public and private-sector clients on education policy and technology. She is a trusted advisor to her education clients in the rapidly evolving field of data privacy, helping them navigate students’ rights and clients’ responsibilities under federal and state law. She also drafts, negotiates, and advises on data-sharing agreements, technology procurement, data privacy and security policy, and security incidents for education industry clients.
