Columbia, SC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Emily Zackon and Jessica Majkowski have been selected to Columbia Business Monthly’s Best and Brightest 35 and Under Class of 2024. Columbia Business Monthly chooses young professionals who are committed to making positive impacts on both the business world and their community.
Emily is a public finance attorney who represents a range of governmental and corporate clients, including counties, municipalities, school districts, and public and private colleges and universities. Emily is a founding member of the South Carolina Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN), of which she is also a board member. She is also a member of the Junior League of Columbia.
Jessica focuses her practice on construction, development, and condemnation. She is part of a team that serves a diverse group of clients representing all participants in the construction field, including owners, developers, contractors, architects, and engineers. Jessica is the publications committee chair for the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of Betta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society that was founded in 1913.
Emily and Jessica will be honored along with the other award winners at a ceremony on September 17 in West Columbia.
