Beth Morris and Reagan Sauls presented to special education administrators from across Georgia on the legal requirements and pitfalls that arise in connection with manifestation determinations under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) at the 2024 G-CASE Fall Conference.
They also discussed issues related to student discipline for students with disabilities and how to address rising concerns related to school safety.
Beth and Reagan also presented a special education legal training. This year’s conference also included Parker Poe attorneys providing insights into applied behavior analysis (ABA).
The Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education (G-CASE) aims to promote professional leadership and study problems common to its members with the goal of improving services to children with special needs.
