Charlotte, NC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Hunter Snowden was selected as the Charlotte Young Privacy Professional of 2025 by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He will serve on the board of the IAPP Charlotte chapter alongside in-house privacy and corporate counsel from Fortune 500 corporations.

Young privacy professionals are industry leaders with less than 10 years of experience and assist chapter co-chairs in leading their local IAPP KnowledgeNet chapters. Hunter will serve a one-year term.

The IAPP is a nonprofit that provides privacy professionals a forum to share best practices, stay up to date on trends, and advance the careers of industry leaders. The organization also provides the gold standard for data privacy certifications concerning U.S. and European laws and regulations; Hunter is one of seven Parker Poe attorneys who hold an IAPP certification.

At Parker Poe, Hunter helps businesses navigate the complex and evolving legal landscape of data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology transactions as well as the routine transactional needs of clients. He has experience in various industries including technology, finance, manufacturing, automotive, retail, real estate, and government relations.
