Ryan Romano helps clients secure the financing they need to build infrastructure and other large projects. Ryan advises a range of clients, including counties, cities, K-12 school districts, charter schools, and institutes of higher education as well as developers and other private sector clients.
Ryan advises on bond financing for a broad variety of projects, including affordable housing, economic development, water and sewer facilities, charter schools, and other capital projects. Ryan also advises and assists nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations with federal and state tax and corporate law compliance.
He also advises private and public clients on different property tax arrangements, including fee-in-lieu of tax (FILOT) agreements, special source revenue credits (SSRCs), and multicounty industrial park (MCIP) agreements, among others.
Ryan earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina, where he was the managing editor of the South Carolina Law Review, a bronze recipient of the Compleat Lawyer Award for outstanding civic and professional accomplishments, and the winner of several other awards. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia.
