Steve Carey and Corri Hopkins presented at the annual meeting of the North Carolina Bar Association's Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes Law Section. Steve and Corri examined the current status of North Carolina’s economic loss rule, including current tension in the courts as to the doctrine’s application to intentional tort claims and intersections between the doctrine and privacy issues.
Catharine Arrowood also presented at the annual meeting, which brought together business litigators from around the state. Catharine explained how arbitration can be used for the efficient and effective resolution of complex business disputes.
