Parker Poe's Real Estate and Commercial Development Practice Group is well-known across the Carolinas and the Southeast for its work in helping clients structure, negotiate and close commercial real estate transactions. We represent developers, owners, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in a variety of real estate matters.
Experience Highlights
- Acquisition, Development, Exchange and Sale – Assist clients with investment and development projects. Structure transactions involving recreational and resort properties, commercial and residential condominiums, office buildings and manufacturing facilities.
- Commercial Leasing – Negotiate leases for retail, office and industrial projects, including big-box power centers, neighborhood shopping centers, office towers and business parks.
- Multifamily and Seniors Housing – Represent developers, buyers and sellers of multifamily projects, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing centers. Negotiate and close financings insured under various HUD/FHA housing programs, including 202, 207, 221, 223 and 232.
- Affordable Housing/ Tax Credits – Represent developers and owners of affordable housing projects qualifying for low income housing tax credits, financed with conventional loans and bond financing.
- Title Services – Provide a full range of title services including examinations and certifications and title insurance claims.
- Financing – Negotiate and close construction and permanent financings, refinancings, mezzanine and joint venture structures, securitized loans and synthetic and leveraged leases.
- Real Property Disputes - Advise clients in a wide range of real property-related disputes, including professional negligence lawsuits and disputes involving real property rights and damages, and administrative proceedings.
